Max Kolonko – American producer, director, writer, author, journalist. Media 2000 Communications founder (est.1993 in New York) and owner. Winner of 2008 Telly Award (The Shield), 2008 Effie Award (Liberty Direct) and Winner of 2001 Victor Award, (photo) for the best journalist of the year and 2nd prize winner of The Grand Press Award in journalism. Producer for a number of European news organizations PANORAMA, TVP, TV4 and TVN. 2001 – 2005 senior White House correspondent for national TVP in Poland.

Contributor to The Huffington Post and Newsweek.

Max Kolonko is also the Producer and Director of a popular, European TV series Discovering America with Max Kolonko. The show is one of the most popular television shows in Europe.

Max Kolonko is also the author of an Amazon bestseller: Discovering America (2006) -where Max writes about his 20 years of television and film experiences in America: NORAD secrets, behind the scenes of the WTC tragedy, U.S. military projects, the history of America and the Wild West.

Since 1992 Max Kolonko is a member of FPC at the U.S. Department of State, the New York Press, FPA, FPC New York and member of The Freelancers Union.

Appeared as special guest on ABC, CNN  and The Goethe Institute in Washington among others.
